How to clean your carbon air filter.

Our face masks' come with a removable carbon filter and can last up to 30 days. To help you maintain your carbon filter so it can operate at its maximum effort, here are some steps to clean your filter for continuous use.

Step 1: Prep

In a bowl, pot, or pan, start with enough hot water to submerge the carbon filter add three tablespoons of dishwashing detergent. Mix the two ingredients and ensure that the soap has adequately been agitated and that the solution is no longer clear.

Step 2: Soak

Soak your carbon filter. Completely submerge your carbon filter inside of the pan or bucket and let it sit for 15 minutes.

Step 3: Clean

Notice:(DO NOT try to wring or scrub the carbon filter to clean it; this will separate the fibers and cause it to become useless.)

Shake the carbon filter from side to side and then back to front while it is submerged. It will loosen up any dirt and grime particles inside.

Step 4: Rinse

Take the carbon filter out of the soapy solution and rinse thoroughly under hot water, shaking it the whole time.

Place the filter in the sun to dry. If you're washing the carbon filter in the winter, put it on a table inside the house.
